Got the wheel hub assembly out fairly simply and easily. I was surprised at how easy it was. Its something I suggested anyone tackle at home with the right tools. However, I did notice that the wheel hub assembly used by the dealer was a cheap Chinese one. Wasn’t an OEM one at all. The dealer allows you to order original Hyundai equipment and tools directly from the wearhouse there. Why in the hell wouldn’t they use an OEM part?!?! They have an excellent sales team, but this is the last time I deal with their service department.

The one on the right is obviously the discount cheap part.

Why in the hell wouldn’t they use an OEM part?!?!

Why give the customer the best service and parts when we can get high margin on shitty knockoffs that we can charge full price for and get away with it?

Crime doesn’t pay, but being a slimeball sure does!

Was the used car department paying for it or Hyundai warranty?

How much did the chinese knockoff part cost you installed?

Around 90 bucks. The OEM part was 150 from Amazon.
